Helmsdale and District SWRI day out.

Some of the ladies of the Helmsdale and District Scottish Women’s' Rural Institute enjoyed a day out on Tuesday 13th May.

We hired the new Helmsdale Community Bus, and enjoyed a very pleasant drive up the Strath, stopping off at Rosal Clearance Village for a walk, and ending up in Tongue. We lunched at the Ben Loyal Hotel, where we were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after by the staff. The weather was fantastic, and we enjoyed seeing the stunning Sutherland scenery.  Our next meeting is on Thursday 23rd May at 7pm in the Community Centre, Helmsdale, and everyone is welcome.
