The last thatched cottage in Gartymore
This is the last thatched cottage at Gartymore it's now in ruins,
see two photo's below taken by myself in the mid 1970's
This photo was taken in the early nineties and you can
clearly see the decay especially on the thatched roof.
One of the Cuthbert brothers note the open peat fire.

This is the newer cottage just around the corner from the thatched cottage. The Cuthbert brothers (now deceased) lived in Gartymore for all of their lives.
