Christmas Lights Switch-On 3 December 2011
Helmsdale and District Christmas Lights Switch-On 3 December 2011 Community Centre Helmsdale
This year the Christmas Lights Display has moved to a new location – the Community Centre – and the Committee has planned a fun – filled program to suit all the Family!
The evenings’ festivities will start with the Pipe Band at 630pm, during which there will be Mulled Wine served.
This will be followed by the children taking their letters to Santa, in his grotto.
Then Councillor Deirdre Mackay will announce the winner of the Children’s Christmas Card Competition.
The winner will then draw the raffles.
This will be followed by the Lights Switch-on and Carol Singing around the Christmas Tree.
There will then be a family ceilidh in the hall.
The music will be provided by the Rogart Dance Band.
Refreshments will be available – jacket potatoes, with a choice of fillings, and hot chestnuts. These have be donated by Murray Retail. In addition there will be Tea, Coffee or Cold Drinks.
Come along and join in the family fun.
All Welcome
