Parish of Kildonan, Loth, Helmsdale
A congregation within the Church of Scotland, firmly within the Reformed Tradition of the Faith Holding to the Doctrines of the digity of man made in the Image of God , fallen into sin and disobedience and under the judgement of God, but brought back into fellowship with God through the self-giving of Jesus Christ whereby we are called into a new life of obedience to God and love of our neighbours through the power of the Holy Spirit. A life that has a goal and purpose - the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ to make all things new
This new life calls us to our purpose set forth in our three fold focus
Godward- in worship and service of God
Manward - in love and service of our neighbours
Inward - in nurturing and sharing in the common life of Jesus within the Body of faith
As a Parish Church our calling is to serve all who live within our Parish boundaries irrespective of race, colour, creed or religion.
“Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation" said Jesus (Mark 16:15)
