Originally built in 1816, the Hotel has undergone extensive renovations and refurbishment during the last three years.

For those who want to “get away from it all” there are miles of trails that offer the solitude so rare in the hustle and bustle of city life today. For the trekking enthusiast these trails are perfect for hill walking.
Fly fishing on the Helmsdale river and stalking in Glen Loth are just some of activities which can be arranged.
A number of other traditional attractions are located within easy reach of the Hotel for those who would prefer a truly Scottish experience.
